Exciting news! Clackamas County’s Gladstone Health Center now has a Dental Clinic. As of January 2, 2020, the Gladstone Health Center offers comprehensive dental care for infants and adolescents up to 18 years of age. The clinic will also be hosting their official grand opening on March 31^st.

CareOregon helped fund the expansion of the health center to include the dental clinic, Clackamas County Health Centers Dental Director, Selynn Edwards said “I feel really fortunate to be a part of such a forward-thinking organization. Thanks to Deborah Cockrell for dreaming up (quite literally in the middle of the night!) this amazing opportunity and CareOregon Dental for generous funding and collaboration on this project.”

The co-located and integrated site sits on the Gladstone high school campus and in the same building as the Gladstone Center for Children and Families which is owned by the school district. The site is home to multiple partner organizations who work collaboratively for the sake their community members. Their services support families of young children, from birth through kindergarten, with the goal of having “children ready for and successful in kindergarten.” The organizations on site include: The Gladstone Health Center, Family Stepping Stones Relief Nursery, Head Start, Gladstone Teaching Preschool, the Clackamas ESD, Lifeworks Northwest, Clackamas Community College, and the Gladstone School District Kindergarten.
