Provider updates

The Oregon Health Leadership Council (OHLC) has released new Telehealth Service Recommendations for Dental Health. This document was developed through the collaborative efforts of providers and clinical experts on OHLC’s Best Practice Committee and associated Telehealth Workgroup, including NHC’s Jon Hall, and CareOregon Dental’s Sherry Edwards and Alexa Jett, among many other Oregon oral health partners. These payer-agnostic recommendations are meant to provide supplementary guidance for health care providers in determining whether a patient’s condition is clinically appropriate for telehealth care, which telehealth modality might be the most beneficial, and tips on how to effectively implement telehealth into their practice.
