Provider updates

My name is Moira and I am so excited to join the CHC team! First, a little about me professionally. I graduated from OHSU in 1993. I have worked mostly full time in private practice in both family dentistry and perio. I love being a hygienist, meeting patients where they are at and being part of an amazing dental team. 

I grew up in Boring, OR went to Boring HS then Barlow HS. I live in Damascus with my husband, Mike, pets and depending on who is living there, an ever-changing number of young adults. I have 4 kids of my own - one who is at home still plus an extra that has lived with us for several years. We like house projects, walking/hiking, and family. I like staying busy, being a homebody, learning new things and having fun. I enjoy volunteering and making our community a better place. I got certified a few years ago in drug and alcohol counseling to work with at risk youth and worked part time in the field for a couple years. We have done foster care and had "extra" kids live with us regularly. I enjoy teenagers, young adults and helping them develop adulting skills.
